U.S. Naval force Rank (Rate) Determination for Prior Service U.S. Naval force Rank (Rate) Determination for Prior Service The following are the guidelines for rank maintenance for earlier assistance individuals who enroll in the United States Navy: Earlier Service Navy Members (NAVETS) Naval force Veterans who meet the beneath measures, and enroll into their past evaluations, typically enroll in the evaluation they held at the hour of release (up to E-6). The individuals who must enroll in an alternate rating (PRISE III) program enroll in the evaluation of E-3, aside from AECF, CTI(N) or Nuclear Program, who enroll in the evaluation of E-4 (if E-4 or above was held during the past selection). Notwithstanding the above capabilities, Navy Veterans must have the option to meet the administration commitment (tour of duty) without surpassing the HYT for the evaluation. Non-Navy Veterans On the off chance that the Veteran holds an ability that is legitimately convertible to a Navy Rating, they are typically enrolled at one paygrade lower than they held at the hour of release, however not lower than E-3. On the off chance that the veteran doesn't have an aptitude straightforwardly convertible to a Navy rating, they enroll at the evaluation of E-3, paying little heed to recently held position, as a rule (there are a couple of special cases).
